Winfield is from the Sifton family that founded an empire in the Canadian newspaper, publishing, and broadcasting industry and other renowned business enterprises. He attended Lakefield College School alongside European Royal families and outstanding Canadian business families, and received his Honours in Economics from Queen’s University.

Janet was born and raised in Brockville, Ontario and is happily married to Winfield Sifton. Janet attained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Carleton University in Ottawa. Her lifelong love of animals has led to many philanthropic efforts towards animal rescue both in Canada and Internationally. This passion includes adopting many beloved family pets and liaising  with numerous Rescue Organizations in the effort to assist in the adoption process for many other families.

Alexander is the grandson of Armagh L. Sifton. Alex received his Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) with Major in Criminology and a Minor in Psychology from the University of Ottawa in 2020.

After graduating from The Florida Institute of Technology with Honours, Geoff decided to give the Insurance industry a try. Geoff joined his father’s business, was licensed in 1984 focusing on his life insurance business. Geoff is also a qualified pilot and he still enjoys flying at every opportunity he can get. When Geoff is not at work, he enjoys the world with his family and friends, living life to its fullest.
